We are seeking a skilled and experienced Communications/Social Media Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key role in developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies for our stakeholder community. You will be responsible for managing all communication platforms, including digital, virtual, and physical requirements on a global basis. Additionally, you will create engaging content for various social media platforms, manage daily social media activities, and analyze performance metrics to optimize our social media presence.
Professional Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
Three or more years of social media experience including planning and managing content in corporate or agency setting.
Familiarity and expert usage of a wide spectrum of social media channels and workstreams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.
Experience using various analytics software.
Working knowledge of HTML and CSS a plus.
Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Key Resposibilities
Helping to create, manage and implement a comprehensive Communications Strategy for stakeholder community.
Manage all communication platforms, including digital, virtual, and physical requirements on global basis.
Developing and utilizing the spectrum of social media content as part of our comprehensive roadmap support strategy.
Develop Communication plans that are consistent with the company’s brand identity.
Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns.
Managing a high volume of daily social media activity, feedback, user sentiments, etc – that is all captured in a comprehensive metrics reporting package (in real time).
Communicating with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner.
Developing and managing social influencer programs and attending social influencer events.
Develop Communication plans that are consistent with the company’s brand identity.
Using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite Pro, and Facebook Insights to monitor and evaluate the organization’s social media presence and performance.
Proofing and publishing all organizations media content including blogs, magazine articles, publications, and related communications content.
Preparing periodic reports on social media marketing efforts.
Working closely with Event Marketing and SCIP marketing efforts to align communications directly to the Marketing efforts.
Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
Performing other duties when needed.
